The French Express US Tour is making a stop in DC tomorrow, and to say we are excited is a gross understatement. Back when this was announced in the fall, I just about lost my marbles because having one of the four is in my mind awesome, but all four of them?!? Shut the freaking front door. I apologize in advance if any of you are within a ten foot radius of me tomorrow evening.
If you're not familiar with the record label, we've featured them on the blog here before, and at the end of the summer, I emphatically shoved Moon Boots' remix of "Headphones" in your faces.
We've got a pair of tickets to giveaway thanks to our kind friends at U Street Music Hall.
Read on to get the scoop and preview some tracks that we're excited to -hopefully- hear tomorrow:

Continued after the jump...
Jonas Rathsman: Rathsman was the one who caught my attention a little over a year ago when his track, "Tobago" was released into the Nu-Disco scene. The track has been played at some of my most favorite shows this past year. I can't help but sing along as the intro builds at the 1 minute mark and the vocals are gradually mixed in at 1:20.
Chris Malinchak: The Deep House side of French Express. That, coupled with ambient sounds, makes Malinchak stand out for me. But the tune "Beside me," released this past July, samples Brandy vocals over some tropical Disco... Sign me up and point me to the dance floor.
Perseus: Head-honcho and the DJ of one of my favorite mixes to date. I probably listen to this number at least once a week. When Perseus first came into my life, I thought of him as a tropical Disco guru (and still do), but his "Dazed Digital" mix shows his range as he flawlessly transitions Azari and III's "Reckless with Your Love" and Robyn's "Show Me Love" at the 14:30 minute mark.
Moon Boots: Do I really need to explain my love for this track? Let's just say -hypothetically speaking- if this gets played tomorrow night, the rest of the DPC crew will probably want to be at least 10 feet away from me, and hopefully I don't have a drink in my hand.
That's the low down on the tomorrow night's bill. Below you you'll find how to enter for your chance for a free pair of tickets!
