This past July, Washington DC was introduced to the three piece multi faceted band known as Misun. The band includes singer/songwriter Misun Wojcik, DPC's own
William DeVon (guitar), and D.C. hero
Nacey (producer/keys). Their EP “The Sea” was released July 17, 2012 on T&A Records and was quickly featured on a number of blogs including leaks from
RCRDLBL and
The Fader. The EP is a refreshing summer breeze of synth/"aqua" wave goodness. Misun's vocals carry a timeless sultry and soulful energy that blend blissfully to the bands arrangements. Not long after the EP, they released “The Sea Remixes” featuring a slew of remixes touching a wide range EDM genres:

A personal favorite (with self-admitted bias), comes from William DeVon. His interpretation of "Coffee" is a synth fueled mood setter. I'm calling it now, "Coffee" will be this band's staple.
