Kid Color LIVE at Smart Bar (4/13/2012)

First and foremost: HUGE shout out of to Mr. Bonkerz, Business Casual Disco, and Orchard Lounge for providing D.C. with some very fine dance parties this weekend. Oh, and we can't forget the readers we were able to meet. DPC had an amazing time dancing and partying our asses off with you all.

The weekend is gone, and it’s back to reality. That doesn't mean the fun stops completely though.  The Windy City native, Kyle “Kid Color” Woods has got a little something for today’s disco dance party. It’s a live mix recorded at SmartBar where he currently holds a residency. -The DPC crew may need to take a road trip out there, as SmartBar is also home to a few of our favorite selectors like Orchard Lounge and Kate Simko- The set was recorded earlier this month and is a meeting of Disco for lovers and partiers alike. The first half of the mix is rowderier with a bit of sex appeal sprinkled about. The Only Children - “Richard Morris” to a Revenge rework of Marvin Gaye's “Heavy Love Affair” segment  is just great in it's selection and mixing.
