Unfortunately, this is not actually the DPC crew. But I now have some ideas for next year!
Hope you all enjoyed your weekend and got the chance to check out our most our third and most recent DPC GuestMix! Our new friend Ichisan did us a solid and put together fantastic mix.
Leave the children to their trick or treating. The grown folks will have ourselves a Funky, Rowdy, Spooky, Spacey, Raucous Dance Party. Don't worry, I've got just the mix to provide the soundtrack (you just bring the whiskey). It comes by way of Nelue. The Spain based DJ/producer's "Halloween Disco Rough Party Mix" is no less all those adjectives and then some. The whole affair is a fun filled dance party courtesy of some really funky bass and spooky/spacey synth tracks. At 11 minutes, prep yourself for a 17 minute Disco JAM session (I'd love an ID on this one)! It is immediately followed up (around the 28th minute) by a dark and dirty funked out Disco track. The spooky vocal and synth on this one make it a perfect Halloween get down and boogie jammer. Get some soul (or lose it for eternity) at the half way point, with one of Curtis Mayfields social commentaries in which he condemns us all to Hell (Bummer, but a dance party for sure). The funkiness does not let up this mix for even a second, and gems come one after another till the end of the 2 hour Halloween Disco session. So pick your poison...a handle of whiskey and/or half your body weight in candy (either way you're going to fill like shit tomorrow), then throw on your ridiculous costume and celebrate through night. Enjoy!
