Friday Mega Mixtape Grab Bag

Happy Friday everyone!  I am beyond excited because two weeks from tomorrow, I will be heading to Movement Electronic Music Festival in Detroit (DEMF).  Expect to see a preview of the festival and some artist features as DPC prepares to do DEMF.

Sometimes the hardest part about writing a blog post is trying to decide what mix that I want to write about.  Weeks like these, where a ton of great mixes come out, make it nearly impossible to decide.  Rather than trying to pick just one, I decided to post all of my favorite mixes from this week in a Mega Mixtape Grab Bag.  There is more than enough music within this post to help you dance your way through the weekend.  Enjoy!

After the Jump...

A Preview of the Weekend

Hiiiiiiii – Guess what today is? FRIDAY! Which means it’s almost Saturday! Which means it’s almost tomorrow night, and I can’t wait for tomorrow night! Do you want to know why? Well. Even if you don’t, I’m going to tell you – deal with it.

Friends! Nu Disco! $4.00 Natty Boh cans!

Serious dance parties are on the horizon in Washington, D.C. We will be getting the party started at 10pm to see Mr. Bonkerz open up, so it only seems appropriate to start the work weekend with a little preview of some of our favorite DJs.

So, please. Grab your headphones, turn up your stereo, and maybe give your legs a stretch. Because really. Who does work on a Friday? (I am kidding. Seriously.)

So. Tell me (cause I love a little banter on the page) – What’s your favorite part of Friday?

I’ll go first. Casual Friday! We get to wear jeans in the office. God, I can’t believe that’s the most exciting part of my Friday, but when you stay in on Friday nights to re-organize your closet (no, really that has happened), or clean out the fridge (please still be my friend), you can understand why I love casual Friday.

See you on the dance floor!
