Letters, Moullinex, and Winners

Dear DPC Readers (aka: our invisible Internet friends),

I've taken notice to the fact that we have acquired some new readers (Hi!) in the last two weeks, and it's been real swell. Let me rephrase that actually... DPC acquired new readers because we know you like free things. And hopefully our blog.

I hope you didn't come expecting much. We're just three Hokies who happen to have a fondness for dance parties and whiskey. Maybe too much whiskey. We're three professionals. We're so professional in fact... that we have meetings while sitting at my kitchen table way too late at night. We drunkenly bounce ideas off one another, reminiscing about whatever show we happened to have just come home from and we're usually still drinking... whiskey... straight from the bottle. #wehavenoshame

Clearly you have stumbled across the RIGHT blog. And if you've been with us from the beginning, thank you. We hope you came for the mixes, and now stay because you realize you share the same appreciation and love for DDPs and music that we have. Because in the end, that's what it's all about.

The winners for a pair of tickets to the Aeroplane, Cassian, and DJ Provoke show on Saturday were comments # 28 (K. Latimer) and #7 (Anne R.). Please email us at dpchronicles@gmail.com so we can pass along your information to U Hall.

Even if you don't end up winning the giveaway, we still hope you come say "hi" to any of us at the show. I can't speak for Rashad or Tyler because they aren't nearly as awkward as I am, but if I run away, it's not because I don't like you - it's because I really am super awkward. It's also really dark at U Hall, and sometimes I like dancing in the corner.

You can still buy tickets here, doors open at 10pm - we'll see you on the dance floor!

Sincerely,

Becca (and Rashad and Tyler)

And because this post has nothing to do with anything other than a weird letter for new readers and how we are so UNPROFESSIONAL, here's what I listened to whilst writing this courtesy of Moullinex (GOMMA <3<3 SWOON) from May 2010. Such a classic and full of amazing tracks - love the 30 minute drop, because let's be real: THAT'S WHAT DDPs ARE ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!Link
